The Early Childhood Training Center is offering a series of eight 3 credit upper-division courses in early childhood education. It is widely recognized that the quality of teaching staff is the most important determinant of the quality of an early childhood education program as measured by developmental and learning outcomes for children. These stand-alone courses are designed to offer in-depth research-based knowledge of important areas of preschool curriculum. They may be used as credits toward a bachelor's or master's degree with the approval of a student' academic advisor. There are no prerequisites for these courses.
