Professional Learning Teams
Professional Learning Teams develop school, individual, and team capacity to improve student achievement and instruction in context. PLTs also provide powerful mentoring opportunities for new teachers; more skillful implementation of new curricula and a collaborative introduction of new strategies such as differentiation and an improved sense of professionalism. Our instructional strategies consultant has designed this PLT workshop to be highly interactive and research-based. Teachers and administrators who complete the program are ready to provide school-level leadership in the development of teacher-led improvement of classroom instruction.

The Center for Student Success offers a Professional Learning Team Network Series once a year, starting in January. The Center also offers individual plans, for schools and districts, in which a series will be designed for your particular team and facilitated at the location of your choice. Please contact the Center for more information regarding your school or district.

For more information please contact Aubrae Matthews, administrative program coordinator of the Center for Student Success, at 503-725-9519 or matthewa@pdx.edu.
