Continuing Education's program in Negotiation and Mediation is designed to provide a broad understanding of the dynamics of conflict, as well as specific training in negotiation and mediation skills which can be used in the areas such as business and consumer relations, organizational conflicts, domestic conflict resolution, and environmental issues. This program meets the requirements of the basic curriculum as set out by the Oregon Dispute Resolution Commission.
Negotiation and Mediation Program: Practice what you learn in CEED's interactive program, which includes lecture presentations, small group discussions, and supervised role-plays with evaluative feedback. This 32-hour, noncredit format provides ample opportunity to practice the concepts and skills presented.
Human Services Courses: Our catalog of course includes many topics pertinent to negotiators/mediators. Some include Marriage and Family Therapy, Addictions Counseling, Conflict Resolution, and Mental Health in the Criminal Justice System. The Continuing Education course catalog lists the courses and programs available each quarter.

Customized Training Opportunities for Negotiators and Mediators: Continuing Education in the Graduate School of Education can design programs to address the specific needs of professionals within business settings, agencies, and institutions. These programs may be offered with customized scheduling and at on-site locations.
Graduate School of Education: Continuing Education and the Graduate School of Education work together on all offerings. This relationship allows Continuing Education to develop and maintain quality programs that are designed to fit the needs of negotiators and mediators.
