Students who are pursuing the Library Media Master's Degree will complete a planned 45-quarter credit program. The program incorporates all of the coursework that is part of the endorsement, plus a core of studies representing research and evaluation, human relations, and/or foundations of education as it applies to the library media field. Students work closely with an advisor to plan a sequence of core and elective courses that meet program requirements, while drawing on their own specific areas of interest. Those who hold an advanced degree in education or a related field may apply for a second master's degree or for licensure only. This program is designed to satisfy university, Graduate School of Education, and program requirements.
Students take all of the coursework in the Endorsement Program, plus the additional coursework for the master's.
