Essentials Course

The new Essentials version 10 course is designed to provide credits for students who have completed either the face-to-face or online version of the new Essentials version 10 workshop from Intel. Students must complete the Essentials version 10 workshop, register online for the course credits, and complete course assignments to receive their credits from Portland State University.

Here are the steps to take if you want to receive these credits:

  1. Register for the course credit online.
  2. You will receive an email that confirms your registration and provides login and password information for the PSU WebCT/Blackboard (online course environment.) Unlike Teaching Thinking, the credit assignments for Essentials version 10 are in WebCT/Blackboard.
  3. Log on to your WebCT/Blackboard account and begin submitting course assignments.
    (Please be aware of the due dates for each quarter.)
  4. Complete all coursework within six months of registration.
