Two certificates
The certificate program in Interpersonal Neurobiology is available in two forms:
- For-credit academic certificate of completion
- Noncredit certificate of completion (CEUs)
Participants receive a Certificate of Completion in Interpersonal Neurobiology upon successful completion of the program. One hundred and ninety contact hours or 19 credits are required for the program. Continuing Education certificates are issued at the conclusion of each class.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
CEUs can be used toward Oregon and Washington counseling or social work continuing education requirements. Washington Clock Hours are available. They can also be appropriate for meeting psychology continuing education requirements.
The courses also meet the requirements for National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) continuing education credits.
Continuing
Education Units from Portland State University are typically accepted
in all states. Check with your licensing board or professional association
to verify. If you encounter any difficulties, please contact sharpml@pdx.edu.
