General Information

Highlights of the program

  • Interprofessional collaboration: Participate in an interdisciplinary model designed to provide optimal services to infants, toddlers, and their families.

  • Practical experience: Apply classroom ideas to actual field practice through an individualized professional development practicum plan.

  • Experienced instructors: Learn from mental health practitioners and Portland State University and Oregon Health & Sciense University faculty currently implementing and studying aspects emphasized in the program.

  • Collegial environment: Network and support colleagues more effectively by participating in the entire program as an educational community.

  • Distance delivery: For partially online courses, decide when to study and interact with your professors and classmates—days, evenings, or weekends—anywhere there's a personal computer and an Internet connection. Periodic on-campus meetings are held on weekends only.
