Upon successful
completion of the program, participants receive a Certificate of
Completion in Infant/Toddler Mental Health. This certificate reflects
the 250 total contact hours or continuing education units, which may be
used toward Oregon and Washington counseling or social work licensure.
These contact hours may also be appropriate for Oregon psychology licensure
or for meeting psychology continuing education requirements.
The courses
in this certificate are designed to meet the requirements for the National
Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC).
Individuals
in special education can use up to six credits for continuing licensure.
Credits may
qualify as electives in other degree programs. Students need to check
with their academic advisers before applying to the program.
Approval
for a Graduate Certificate in Infant/Toddler Mental Health for participants
in this program is pending. All courses taken prior to formal approval
will be applied to the graduate certificate.
