The Men’s Health Project is partnering with community members and organizations to present a men’s health fair to reach African American males of all ages and other males who are affected by health disparities and inequities. The goals of this event are to:
- Raise awareness among men about the importance of good health — for self and family
- Provide practical and meaningful action strategies that men can take to make a difference in their own health and the health of others
- Expose men to meaningful career and service opportunities in health care
- Provide useful information to men and family members for distribution to men not in attendance
- Serve as a catalyst for ongoing dialogue and action by local groups to promote the health of our communities
