This series of courses prepares mental health professionals to do couples and family counseling.
For those pursuing the master's degree in the Counselor Education Program, these courses are required for the Couples, Marriage, and Family Specialization.
With the required coursework as determined by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists, these courses can lead to state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
For other human service professionals, health care providers, clergy and those in other related fields, these courses provide a solid foundation of knowledge and skills for helping couples and families.
