The Early Childhood Training Center (ECTC) provides early childhood training, professional development, and human services consulting to individuals and entities who work with young children and families. Through a range of organizational and professional development services, the ECTC and its Center for Healthy Inclusive Parenting (CHIP) provides family support training, early childhood workshops and classes, and credential programs.
ECTC’s experience staff offers comprehensive resources, relevant information, technical assistance, and competency based training for individuals, care providers, organizations and communities in meeting the social, emotional, health, and educational needs of young children, youth, and their families. We build on people's strengths and competencies and utilize the latest utilize best practices to meet the individual needs of our clients.
Located on Portland State University in Portland, Oregon, the Early Childhood Training Center, through the Graduate School of Education, also offers consulting services regionally, and nationally. We also offer online early childhood classes and programs that lead to specialized certificates and degrees.
