Revised Schedule 5/14/09
BREAKING NEWS! Arthur Levine, editor and publisher of Arthur A. Levine Books, will be the guest editor at this summer's 10th Annual Pacific Northwest Children's Book Conference. Arthur has graciously stepped in for Nancy Gallt, whose husband, Craig Virden, passed away suddenly in early May.

Arthur Levine is one of the foremost editors of children's books in the U.S. and is a compelling, witty speaker who is known for the excellence of his award-winning list of authors and illustrators - and for his support of the writers and illustrators with whom he works. He will be at the conference from Wednesday, July 15 through Friday, July 17, and will be available for manuscript consultations during that time. He will also be giving two talks and presiding over an Ask-The-Editor session.

Don't miss this opportunity to connect with Arthur, as well as the stellar faculty of published authors and illustrators who are also experienced teachers, in a collegial and supportive environment on the Reed College campus in Portland, Oregon. We look forward to seeing you in July!
