I was impressed by the professionalism of all the speakers. Everyone was well-prepared. I felt respected.

I loved every minute and that never happens at conferences, at least none I've gone to. But then again, none have been with children's book people. You all made us feel like part of a big family. I think I'll start calling myself a writer.
