Chris Anderson, MS, LMFT, NCGC, is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, a licensed marriage and family therapist in Illinois, and is a nationally certified gambling counselor and supervisor. He is the director of the Gambling Recovery Center in Evanston, Illinois, and maintains a clinical practice where he specializes in the treatment, interventions, and evaluations of gamblers and their families. Mr. Anderson is frequently consulted and utilized as a forensic expert on gambling and financial issues. In addition to frequent radio and television appearances to promote awareness of compulsive gambling issues, he has conducted numerous training seminars on pathological gambling in North America and has been the keynote speaker at 10 state and international conferences.

Kenneth Hardy, PhD, is a professor of family therapy at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and also maintains a private practice in New York, where he specializes in working with at-risk children and their families. Dr. Hardy’s work has earned him considerable public acclaim, including television appearances on the Oprah Winfrey Show and Dateline NBC. Dr. Hardy has provided training and consultation to an extensive range of organizations, agencies, and institutions devoted to working with at-risk children and their families. He is a fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and a recipient of the International Association for Marriage and Family Counselors (IAMFC) Distinguished Contribution to Marriage and Family Counseling Award. Dr. Hardy has published numerous articles within family therapy and is the co-author of Teens Who Hurt: Clinical Interventions for Breaking the Cycle of Adolescent Violence.

Kelly J. Washam, MA, CADCI, has been working in mental health, addictions, and dual diagnosis for over 14 years, including outpatient, residential, and hospital settings. She is senior counselor/preceptor at ChangePoint, Inc., and counsels in the intensive outpatient and Matrix research programs. Ms. Washam has also presented workshops on addictions, stress management, motivation, and managing the symptoms related to mental health issues. She is co-founder of Spirit Mind Associates and has a private practice in Portland.
